9t pinion for box stock?

Great question. Talked it over with @Coreyford and it seems like we will stick to the 6T to start.

However, maybe during practice we can run a few other pinion sizes and see what we enjoy more. We can always change them should we choose to later in the season if we like.

@Maverick, suggestions?

Sounds good. We were running up to a 9t at MC3 and it was good. But you had to win three BOX STOCK races to graduate to that class, they called it EXPERT BOX STOCK.

Our goal was to stay as close to Yves’ Barrie RC to start, since we expect the majority of the racers to already have cars setup for those classes.

We’ve been in talks with the Surreal guys already and are looking forward to having some Club matchups against them in the future :wink:
We will look at what they are running and see if we can all agree to some form of “universal” standard across clubs.

It will be much better for the whole community that way!

Would it be possible to include an MR03 brushless on the Stock Touring class?

Could be something to be done in the future but for the most part stock touring is a pn70 motor with open gearing and all bolt ona to a kyosho chassi or pn2.5

I agree. It will be fun to compete club against club.
